Peter Procunier, IIIthe son of Peter Procunier, JR & Mary Elizabeth (Procunier); Peter was born on 17 Nov 1795 in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania; died on 14 Nov 1832 in Walsingham Twp., Norfolk County, Upper Ontario Canada.  Peter married Deborah Cope on 22 Mar 1827; two children.  Deborah remarried after Peter's death in 1832.

Ref: page 73 The Bragonier Family 1969. Deborah may have been a relation of William Cope's wife, Frances (Sands) Cope, formerly of Long Island, New York.

During the War of 1812, Peter served as a private in Mabee's Company and Gordon's Detachment of the Norfolk County Militia.  After Peter Prockunier, III died his father filed on 17 Dec 1832 for Letters of Administration over his son's estate and for the guardianship of David Sands Procunier to be given to the boy's uncle David Procunier.

David Sands Procunier born in 14 Nov 1825, died 8 Jan 1848
ae 22y - 2mo. He was buried in Johnson Cemetery.
Peter Procunier, IV 1827-1858  died aged 31
