David North born 17 March 1796 in Cumberland County, Maryland (his father was David North), died in July 1849 in Butler Township, Montgomery County, Ohio.  David North was married in Maryland but his 1st wife (I don’t know her name) died shortly after they moved to Ohio. David’s occupation was listed as a Saddler's Trade in Hagerstown, Maryland. David married Betsey Harvey 2nd in 1930 & they had two children, George W. & Martha J. but Betsey died in 1833 just three years after her marriage to David. David married 3rd Susan Fair in July of 1835 who gave birth to eight children between 1836 & 27 January of 1849 (Emma North being the last child). David died seven months after Emma’s birth leaving Susan “Fair” North with ten children living on their farm to raise.  Her step son George helped his step mother raising her eight children, Susan Fair North never remarried. (a widow for 56 years)
