Catharine Procunier,  the daughter of Henry Procunier Sr & Frances (Weymer) Manuel; married Andrew LaChapelle on 22 Mar 1866 in Port Rowan Ontario, Canada.  Andrew was born 12 Jan 1828 in Quebec, Canada & died 25 Sep 1916 in South Walsingham, Ontario Canada.

Catherine Procunier was born September 9,1838 to Henry Procunier and Francis ( Fanny ) Manual. It is believed that the family was living in South Walsingham Twp., Oxford County.

Catherine and Andrew LaChapelle were married on March 22, 1866 by Rev. W.H. Haviland, pastor of the regular Baptist church in Port Rowan. Witnesses were J.W. Procunier and Henry Procunier. Five children were born to this union: Austin Peter, Sarah Minerva , William Henry, Delamere Manual, and Fanny Belle. The family attended the First Houghton Church on the Front Road.

Catherine died November 15,1897 and is buried in the Port Royal cemetry in Ontario.
