Pierre Bracounier, born circa 1633 Montauban, France. Notes on the Braconnier family as disclosed by various works on Protestantism in France, Huguenot Refugees Etc. Pierre married Jeanne d'Hermanc.

Pierre Bracounier Sr. and the following Braconniers research was taken from the manuscript of the Rev. A. Stapleton and quotes from the Huguenot Society of London.
Josue Braconnier was an Elder of the Walloon Church at La Haye, in Holland, in 1618.
Isaac, Benjamin, Jacques, & Louis Braconnier took refuge in Berlin, Germany, Halberstadt and Halle, from 1698-                 1700.[see Protestantism Francais-by Haag].

Research from the "Proceedings of the Huguenot Society of London", discloses that about (20) twenty refugees of the name Braconnier came to England from France during the period from 1636 to 1766, as taken from Church Baptismal, Marriage and Death records.

Aeltje Braconie born about 1588 Netherlands, died about 1683 Brooklyn, Kings, N.Y. Detch Church yard.

Louise Braconnier, daughter of John & Louise (de La Marre) Braconnier, married Pierre Nau, son of Pierre Nau Sr. & Jeanne Ripau, native of Lusignau in Poitou ______!         Ref: Georgiana H. Randall The Bragonier Family page 6.

Pierre Bracounier Jr  Probably the son of Pierre & Jeanne (d'Hermenc) Bracounier. Pierre was born in Montanban, France 8 April 1653. Married Marie de Dubor (age 27) 10 Jun 1680 in France. Pierre and his family left France and relocated to Magdebourg, Germany in 1685.
John Bracounier married Louise de La Marre, born Lusignau in Poitou ____.
       One daughter Louise Braconnier
Aeltje Braconie born Netherlands; died Brooklyn. Kings, N.Y. 1697, buried Detch Churchyard; married Thomas Badie;
one child Marie Thomas Badie. Marie married Jacob Verdon, and together they had two children:
                                 Thomas Verdon
                                 Magdelena Jacobs Verdon.  Magdelena married Adam Brouwer BERCHOVEN,
                                             one child Peter BROUWER b-1646 d-1700.
