The letter on the right was the response I received from the National Huguenot Society in October 1994 after I sent them a check for $25 to do a Query on John Nicholas Peckoner No# 1-1095.

To my shock (and as you can see) John was disqualified after the 1962 list was published and his name was erased from all National Huguenot Society records as being a Huguenot.  Maybe with more extensive research in the German records Johan Nichol Peckoner SR’s name can be restored & give him  his rightful Huguenot recognition.
